Holstein heifers sold mostly steady on a very light test. Open heifers sold steady to 100.00 lower on a very light test. Wednesday's supply included 56 fresh milking cows, 4 springing cows, 6 bred cows, 44 springing heifers, 31 bred heifers, 40 open heifers, and 8 bulls. One hundred percent of reported supply Holsteins unless otherwise noted. All sales sold on a per head basis.
FRESH COWS: Supreme: 1275.00-1325.00; Approved: 850.00-1225.00, Jersey/Crossbred 775.00-900.00 Few; Medium: 525.00-800.00; Common: 300.00-475.00.
SHORT BRED COWS: (1-3 months): Approved: 900.00-1175.00 Few.
SPRINGING COWS: (7-9 months): Approved: 850.00-950.00 Few.
CULL COWS: 300.00-450.00 Few.
