Compared to last week, not enough comparable Alfalfa/Grass receipts for a trend. Grass hay traded with a steady undertone on a light test. Straw steady to firm on limited comparable receipts. Supply and buyer attendance light. Demand moderate. All prices are considered FOB, although a 10 mile local delivery is typically provided. Prices reflect various size loads of hay. Prices are per ton.
ALFALFA/GRASS: LARGE SQUARES: Premium: one load 340.00. SMALL SQUARES: Good: one load 235.00; Fair: one load 215.00.
GRASS HAYS (Timothy/Orchard): LARGE SQUARES: Premium: 285.00-300.00; Good: one load 240.00; Fair: 165.00-200.00. SMALL SQUARES: Fair: one load 195.00.
