Compared to last week, Slaughter barrows and gilts sold 4.00-5.00 lower with the exception of the 300-350 lbs hogs which sold mostly steady. Slaughter sows sold steady to 2.00 higher. Boars not tested last week so no comprison. Demand moderate. Supply consisted of 55 Sows, 11 Boars, 388 Barrows and Gilts, and 203 Roasters. All prices per cwt.

BARROWS/GILTS: 52-56% LEAN: 38 head 200-300 lbs 47.00-54.00, 29 head 200-300 lbs 58.00-69.00, 17 head 300-350 lbs 50.00-60.00, 16 head 300-350 lbs 64.00-71.00; 48-52% LEAN: 109 head 200-300 lbs 38.00-46.00, 51 head 200-300 lbs 28.00-39.00, 27 head 300-350 lbs 36.00-48.00.

SOWS: US 1-3: 16 head 300-500 lbs 30.00-35.00, 3 head 300-500 lbs 41.00, 22 head 300-500 lbs 10.00-26.00, 8 head 500-650 lbs 32.00-38.00, 3 head 500-650 lbs 10.00-25.00.

BOARS: 5 head 325-725 lbs 5.00-6.00.
