Compared to last week, traditional slaughter steers not tested. Non-traditional steers sold 4.00-5.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter Holsteins and slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter cows not reported last week due to holiday so no comparison. Slaughter bulls sold 1.00-2.00 higher on a very light test. Offerings included 125 slaughter steers, 151 slaughter heifers, 245 slaughter cows, 62 slaughter bulls, 500dairy feeder calves, and 225 miscellaneous cattle. Supply included: 100% Slaughter Cattle (19% Steers, 2% Heifers, 72% Cows, 7% Bulls).

SLAUGHTER STEERS: CHOICE 2-3: 41 head 1265-1755 lbs 102.00-130.00.

SLAUGHTER HEIFERS: CHOICE/PRIME 3-4: 4 head 1185-1245 lbs 114.00-120.00; CHOICE 2-3: 1 head 1330 lbs 107.00.

SLAUGHTER COWS: BREAKERS: 75-80% lean, Avg dress 50.00-54.50, High dress 55.00-59.50, Low dress 44.00-48.00; BONER: 80-85% lean, Avg dress 48.00-53.50, High dress 54.00-62.00, Low dress 45.00-47.00; LEAN: 85-90% lean, Avg dress 41.00-46.00, High dress 47.00-52.00, Low dress 35.00-40.00.
