Compared to last week, not enough traditional steers for a market test. Non-traditional steers sold 1.00-2.00 higher on good demand. Not enough Slaughter Holstein steers for a market test. Slaughter heifers not tested. Slaughter bulls sold 3.00-4.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter cows not reported due to holiday work schedule. Offerings included 207 slaughter steers, 208 slaughter heifers, 272 slaughter cows, 67 slaughter bulls, 313 miscellaneous cattle, and 255 dairy feeder calves. Supply included: 100% Slaughter Cattle (60% Steers, 3% Dairy Steers, 36% Bulls).

SLAUGHTER STEERS: CHOICE 2-3: 3 head 1395-1655 lbs 110.00-114.00, 86 head 1050-1850 lbs 105.00-132.00. SELECT 2-3: 2 head 1515-1550 lbs 105.00-107.00, 2 head 1475-1500 lbs 133.00-139.00.

SLAUGHTER HOLSTEIN STEERS: CHOICE/PRIME 3-4: 2 head 1495-1645 lbs 91.50-93.00. CHOICE 2-3: 3 head 1627 lbs 88.00.
