Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly steady to 2.00 lower on a light test. Non-traditional slaughter steers sold 2.00-3.00 lower. Not enough Holstein slaughter steers last week for a comparison. Not enough slaughter heifers for a market test. Demand moderate for steers and heifers. Breaking and boning slaughter cows sold mostly steady to 1.00 lower on moderate demand. Lean cows sold 3.00-4.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady. Holstein feeder bull calves sold steady to 10.00 higher. Offerings included 235 slaughter steers, 255slaughter heifers, 224 slaughter cows, 94 slaughter bulls, 333 Holstein feeder bulls and heifers, and 126miscellaneous cattle. Supply included: 50% Slaughter Cattle (27% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 4% Heifers, 44% Cows, 21% Bulls); 18% Feeder Dairy Calves (100% Bulls).
