Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower with no comparison on slaughter heifers. All classes of slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 lower. Buyer demand was moderate on a moderate supply for the slaughter sale. Feeder dairy bulls and heifers sold weak on a moderate supply. Buyer demand was moderate. Today’s supply included 140 steers, 61 heifers, 38 bulls, 332 cows, 0 misc cattle, and 577calves. Supply included: 50% Slaughter Cattle (25% Steers, 8% Dairy Steers, 3% Heifers, 54% Cows, 8% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 50% Feeder Dairy Calves (86% Bulls, 14% Heifers).
