Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold steady to 1.00 lower. Demand moderate. Ethnic Steers are steers sold primarily to the ethnic market. Today those steers sold 1.00-2.00 lower on light demand. Slaughter Holstein steers sold mostly steady to firm on a light test. Slaughter heifers sold 2.00-3.00 lower on another very light test. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady compared to a light test last week. Cattle supplies included 123 steers, 104 heifers, 528 cows, 49 bulls, and 41 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

SLAUGHTER STEERS: HIGH CHOICE/PRIME 3-4: 1200-1550 lbs 112.00-115.00; CHOICE 2-3: 1225-1600 lbs 105.00-111.00; SELECT 2-3: 1100-1625 lbs 102.00-105.50. Ethnic steers 1300-1850 lbs 107.00-118.00, few 124.00-126.00.

Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Graded Holstein Bull Calves sold mostly steady to 5.00 lower with the exception of # 2 and 3 calves weighing 90-110 lbs selling 10.00-30.00 higher.
