Compared to last week, Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher with most movement on the Lean cows offered. Demand good. Not enough slaughter bulls last week for a comparison. Graded Holstein feeder bull calves sold 10.00-20.00 higher. Graded Holstein heifer feeder calves sold steady to 10.00 lower on a very light test. Offerings included 7 slaughter steers, 18 slaughter heifers, 217 slaughter cows, 8 slaughter bulls, 29 miscellaneous cattle, 357 dairy calves with 255 head graded. Supply included: 44% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 56% Feeder Dairy Calves (85%Bulls, 15% Heifers).
