About Show Ease Inc
In 1962, John Kreider was farming on his family's six-generation dairy operation. In considering a new addition to the barn, he had to decide between installing a traditional cow stall or finding an improved design.
A friend in New York state invited John to see a new cow stall design in the area. John and his wife, Betty, drove to New York to check it out. "I really liked it. It showed off the cow," John said.
Back home, as he described the better stall that he had seen, his father and other farmers greeted him with skepticism. But John didn't let their reactions deter him. Like every inventor before him, he had a vision of something better. With Betty's encouragement, he went to work to create it.
He bent some pipes and came up with a 3' high stall that was easier on the cow and more efficient for the farmer to use. Quickly, other farmers started asking if John could make stalls for them; the business took off and flourished.
In 1963, John incorporated Show-Ease Stall Company. Over the years, the company added a variety of products. In 2011 his eldest daughter, Connie Bender, became owner and president of ShowEase.
In 2012, ShowEase moved and is now situated at the intersection of Route 272 and Trout Run Road just north of Ephrata. Look for our sign! With the move, ShowEase ceased the manufacturing of John’s stalls.
Our current product lines include the finest in animal housing, mats, feeding and watering equipment along with silo unloaders, forage blowers and boxes, fill pipes and distributors, barn cleaner units and chain, equipment that keeps our agricultural community productive.
Over 50 years after incorporation, customers still know that ShowEase is the place to go for equipment, mats and top-notch service.
