Eric Hurlock's six-week hemp road trip starts June 28, and Lancaster Farming readers are invited to join the adventure as it unfolds.

Eric Hurlock will hit the road in just about two weeks for Lancaster Farming’s first-ever cross-country tour of hemp farms and industry events.

Our Industrial Hemp Podcast producer will RV to Oregon and back, making stops in 15 states over six weeks, and Lancaster Farming readers can follow the journey as it unfolds.

A travelogue with lots of photos will be published each week in our print editions, and Hurlock will be documenting the trip daily on the Lancaster Farming website and social media platforms. He will also be publishing new podcasts from the road.

The goal of the tour is to document the rebirth of the hemp industry by telling the stories of the people who are making it happen. Hurlock will interview and engage with hemp farmers, entrepreneurs and visionaries who are developing new products, building local supply chains, and exploring the crop’s environmental benefits.

Stay tuned for updates on the tour.
