The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a product recall for John Deere 4044R, 4052R and 4066R compact utility tractors.

Front cab support bolts that were torqued improperly during manufacturing can fail during a rollover, posing a crushing injury hazard to the operator.

The Oct. 31 recall affects about 5,700 tractors sold in the U.S., and about 1,650 sold in Canada.
