Ingredients and Directions

  • 1 quart water
  • 6 mint tea bags
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron

Bring water, tea bags, cinnamon sticks and saffron ingredients to a boil. Remove from burner and let steep overnight. Then strain. This is your tea concentrate.

  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup tea concentrate
  • 1/2-1 cup sugar

To make tea, mix boiling water, 1 cup tea concentrate and sugar together.

Note: Remaining concentrate keeps well in the refrigerator.
