Ingredients and Directions

Put the following ingredients into blender jar in order, and blend until smooth:

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup cider vinegar

  • 1/2 cup vinegar

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon flour

  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Pour mixture into at least a 2-quart pot. Heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens. As soon as dressing has thickened, remove pot from heat.

Whisk in: 

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

Add to hot, cooked potato cubes or hot cooked macaroni. Other things may be added to suit preferences, such as chopped onions, chopped red or green bell peppers, chopped celery, grated carrots or chopped hardcooked eggs. Note: Four cups of uncooked macaroni makes enough to use all this dressing.
